Another point, very much recurring,
I have been brought up in such a way
that it is absolutely normal and a pleasure for us to serve.
Guests are our own family. It is another matter that people in this era,
have lost all sense of natural service and gratefulness.
We subconsciously expect from others (receiving), as we do to others (giving).
Not because we are stingy or greedy,
but because this is how we are raised.
However the ego in that era has gone backwards.
Example:
How and what we do to them?
Wherever I lived, I accommodated people who were roofless, one of them even in precarious situation not knowing if she could even be allowed to remain in the country once her temporary visa expired. There was never a second thought for me to accommodate them. Though I knew the latter only since a day or two.
Spontaneously I did what I felt was right. But also grow from learning how people act in this era.
Therefore, for the materialistic readers, not getting it:
I sheltered them for free.
And never even thought I was doing them a favour, nor thought it was done for free.
Why? Because I did not sense I am doing them a favour, it was my pleasure.
However you see me writing this now, as I learned how people give shelter and think they are doing a favour to the people and to God. What you do is for your own self. Capish?
Next, I never did one thing, said another and expected another for their accommodation.
I sheltered them, was happy to do so, end of story.
This too I learned, weak people have a tongue saying one thing, mind hiding another and heart expecting something else. Very misaligned. And then crying about their loss while having a guest.
And the listener, equally blind, or deaf should I say? Not able to ask the so called guest if it is true statements, such as are you underpaying your rent, are you stealing food? No just like that one side of story followed by judgement. 'You know it is not good for your soul to do that'... Judgement and no discernment. What can we say of the level of insight and fairness of these yogi?
That is the level I experienced say 10 years ago?
Now, it still need to be stated here, as it seems people don't seem to move past these false impressions. They do good and think they do a favour to God or got stolen, or got bad end of the business. Next, they don't even bother to apologised or right the wrongs. Instead they are afraid and distance themselves in case they be stolen again...
If you consider God as a business, then please continue with your struggles and coming to terms with a past that is getting heavier and painful by the day. Stuck in past loops. Pierce them either by letting them go, which is true forgiveness or by discussing it if you can't do it on your own.
For your peace of mind and heart, I'll let you know what happened:
The guy's son was a drug addict and was always hungry, stealing food and then accusing the guest behind its back. Rent was paid as per agreement, however the landlord was thinking may be, more could be paid but could not dare to ask. Then he ended up crying and accusing the guest again behind its back.
And the listener thought also he was doing favour by feeding the guest on visits, because assuming the guest was hungry and needed more food.
All the way, everyone were stuck in a narrative of their own, a lie and story happening behind backs.
Years later, the guest tried to contact each of them
to give gifts, and meditate with them to enhance their level of meditation and provide healing.
To let the energy unblock their blockages. Because that was for the repayment of the help given at that time. But their fear of being stolen or taken advantage of make them refuse any meditation and meeting to receive the gifts, hence losing them.
Now these same gifts are granted to complete strangers. Why?
Because the guest is 'filthy rich'. Materially and Spiritually and it gives to whoever crosses its path.
Had the truth be spoken in the past, story validated. The landlord son might have been saved from his addiction, because that's what my energy would have done, healed him. And had the listener, had listened to both sides of story, he would have realised that he was accusing someone who had such an honourable background. And could have benefited for his family of future healing sessions.
Why ? Because what is brought into the awareness, is what is healed.
What is left in darkness is festered, rotten and it stinks.
Now, have you grown out of your misperceptions? Have you seen your habits amended? Have you realised it is not honourable to remain stuck on the material consideration as this means your own attention is stolen from you.

You are letting your attention being stolen by material, sensorial, considerations,
ie the left and right channel.
So please stop hovering over my blog with the past as a dark cloud above your head. It does not fit a yogi. You are better than that.
As for me,
I keep moving forward.
And I thank God that I have been raised by loving and generous parents,
while they did not even placed tags on their action, 'this is generous, this is service, this is this and this is that'.
Finally, those who try to teach me and wash me to Indian culture.
Remember I am not Indian
I am Spirit within.
And on the material level, I am more Indian than you are
as that is the spirit of the culture that is already in my blood: Good manners.
